Thanks, That's what I've read to, but sometimes things make me nervous.
  I know I can fix the box myself. I can't finish the build untill I drop the trans from the Amercian. I've done some serious looking for an AMC two wheel drive trans core to use for parts and I have had no success so far. The only one I know of is the one in my car! My spare trans is a T-4, Rats.
