I would have to agree with you.
Slamming the Spirit AMX is not in the best interest of promoting a rag with a loyal AMC following! While the Spirit AMX was lacking in tru AMX tradition, it is no more quality of this then the 79 Mustangs and their Anemic 302s!!! Gm made some equally sinky late 70's Firebirds and Camaros too.
   If you compare them the 304 Spirit AMX was actually quite a capable car for the day.
I guess we need to send out a few hundred emails as I've always gottenr epsnses to emails sent to CarCraft. Eveyone schime in and let them know what you think.
   It doesn't have to be a multi page letter trashing the mag, just a quick polite note that they stepped on you toes will do!
   Tell them they need to build one to redeem themselves!!!
Yes, as soon as I read the article for myself I will let them know my feelings!
