Hey Todd - No I don't think you are, he wants 100 ASAP at the auction end
if you are the winning bidder - he's encouraging people to come see the car
before bidding.

I dunno if it happens much in the USA but selling a car on EBay here can be
a nightmare of keyboard warriors bidding and then not completing the deal.

He's also trying to avoid some guy turning up and trying to only give half
what he bid on the car - using the excuse "oh well now I see it, I don't
think it was worth x"
