I would love factory American Motors Disc brakes on my '69 AMX. I just got so much other things for it that need to be done first. Just out of curiosity's sake are the parts around swap over to the factory '69 front disc for an AMX?

If you want factory brakes for a concours correct show car you should still be able to find them, but it will be expensive. The original four piston Bendix calipers are prone to wear and leaking. Modern four piston calipers are made differently. If you just want better brake for driving use a Scarebird AMC kit. If you are more concerned about looks the Aerospace Components street set is better (but costs almost twice as much). Wilwood makes an AMC kit now, it's just a little more than the Aerospace kit. IMHO the Aerospace kit looks better, and Aerospace has been supporting AMC for a few years -- Wilwood just decided to about a year ago. Performance should be about the same with both.
