Subject: Re: Tucking In The 5 Mph Bumpers
i think that tucking the bumbers is a great idea when i first got my
gremmy i noticed that the bumbers are basicly gaint chrome plates and
would act like a snow blow if the car was lowered enough. which is
why
i completley shaverd them off. not only does it look better it also
makes the car lighter.one of my first ideas was to take the front and
rear bumpers off of a latemodel corvair which only need to be
narrowed
about 1-2 inches to fit right.

OK - ......... so what did you decide on - no crash protection ?
the 1970 Dodge Challanger has a *Nice* Knife Blade style
front Bumper that would work front & rear. Could 'Section' it
to the right width....... or a 'Vette '69 with the split bumpers
could work..... or a '56 Caddie with the 'Dagmar' Jane Mansfield
'Boosom' bombs just a'danglin......... ........ even some 'Nerf push-
bars would
stop your sheet-metal from a forehead BeerCan job @
Wal-Marts......... but Hey ! fukit.
TurboGrem....... ? You have any .jpgs of the installation ?
Brien.
