Alone ? no my wife was with me and she dosent drive. How are you 
going to get home? Duh inn my Chevy which security parked in the 
hosptal parking lot in a handicapped spot, I have a handicapped 
parking permit. A half hour before the the IV was to be removed I 
felt a pain in my hand with the IV in it and it was swolled up like 
a balloon. The needle slipped out of the vein and was depositing the 
fluid into my hand and lower arm under the skn. I am so happy to be 
home and out of that place and am just a little weak from all this.
