Well,
My welding buddy lost his day time job, so he's got lots of free time
to fab a set of bars. When I first told him about it, he started
talking like a 4 link and cal trac clones, ordering heim joints,
ect. When I told him slapper bars, he told me it would be pretty
easy. He's actually putting together a small business loan to open
his own welding and fabrication shop, he's definitely one I take my
welding to if I want it to hold.
So, I'm thinking a basic slapper bar welded to a flat spring perch,
with the correct Gremlin/Hornet shock hole (staggered of course), and
an adjustable snubber? Anything I'm missing? If these work out well
enough, anyone here interested in a group buy?
Give me some input if you would, and I'll keep you posted.
Chremlin's mini starter just showed up, the beast will be mobile this
weekend!
