Dan, I replaced my 6cyc with a 290 & it dropped in good..Got the V8 crossmember from a fellow baadassgremlin member. Used the trans that came with it but kept the rear from the 6cyc..I don't plan on racing it. You have to change the engine harness.

I made my own and used chevy mounts and about $15 metal
