  defroster

I have two questions. One is what kind of back tires do you
have on it. The second and  I don't meant to be smart. How much
experience have you had driving in snow. It is a lot different than
driving on dry payment. While I am no great fan of front wheel drive cars
they do a whole lot better in snow than rear wheel drive cars and of
course you can't compare it to four wheel drive suvs. I wouldn't think
about driving my Gremlin in the snow any more. Too afraid I would wreck
it. The defroster. I haven't had a heater in mine in years. The heater
core started leaking years ago and I disconected the hose to it. I have a
new one in a box in my spare bed room but since I never drive it in the
winter I have never installed it. I do remember the defroster doesn't work
very well on my 78 either. I can't remember if it blew more to the middle
or to the passenger side. I know we put tape over a lot of the defroster
vent to get it to blow on the driver window. Make sure both of the side
vents and the one in the middle are turned off this well put more air on
the windshield too. The inside of the drivers window has a million little
straches from my mother keeping a rag where she kept wiping the inside of
  the window off. Terry
