Many graphics shops can indeed make these,
providing they have a machine that can do one that size. This is a very large
decal with lots of vinyl, covers almost whole hood and you have multiple colors.
I tried to reproduce it years ago but costs were too high. But yes, there are
places that armed with original can replicate it.
The last NOS ones I have seen, on ebay and at
national meets, sold for well over what a reproduction one from PHX/G sells them
for. And PHX/G also tosses in a set of side big block "A"M"X" letters. I had a
stack of those NOS, but sold out for $40 a set last year. Bought a stack of 50
of them at the St. Louis nationals. And not sure why as I didn't have any 79-80
AMXs, but did use a set on a 69 AMX I sold three years ago, they looked nice on
the car!
