[BaadAssGremlins] Which Gremlin gas tank is correct???

On  1972-73 Gremlins does the gas tank have a short filler neck stub 
weled into it? Or is it the type of tank with just a open hole and 
rubber grommet for the filler neck to slide into???? I bought a tank 
for my 1972 project several years ago. Had it sealed/added a dual 
pickup line sump for my electric pump. Never got it in the car yet. Old 
tank is still in the car!! I have no way to know if my new tank is 
correct or not right now???? Thankyou for any helpful info,Joe
