Eddie, I was a parts manager for an AMC dealer in Toms River, nj from 69 to
75. In late 73 I ordered a 74 Hornet X with a 304, automatic, manual disc
brakes.....I ordered the SC360 Hood scoop, flapper, and all related air
cleaner items, cast iron exhaust headers, intake manifold and 401 police
carb, and had some headwork done. To say the least I built my own SC304 that
would blow off 383 magnums!!! I have only found one picture so far which I
will attach...I had to file the hood scoop to fit the contours of the 74
hood, but most people that saw the car thought it was a factory built car. I
still have my parts counterbook, speed equipment catalogs , and brochures
for lots of AMC's for the years I worked there.....
ps...car was sienna orange with saddle interior
