RE: [BaadAssGremlins] need to find a way to title

In every state with vehicle titles are companies in the yellow pages that are "title companies" (Not to be confused with real estate title).
They specialize in exactly this sort of thing and know ALL the tricks for getting it done fast.  They have all the contacts needed, it's their everyday job.

Chances are, you'll need a signed "Limited Power of Attorney" which (and here's the trick) doesn't have to be witnessed.  So if you SAY that's their signature (wink, wink) then it's their signature.  It's just paperwork Jeff City needs.  It assigns all rights to that vehicle to you.

THEN, with the BoS and the PoA, you can have a title assigned to YOU....  done and done.  This can be done in one day for a expedite fee.

I live in Texas and it is a title state. I do not know the cost but Hemmings Motor News under services section I have seen where titles can be issued for any cars. Hope this helps.

my 1971 Sportabout. I bought it from the big collection sold in dallas this past year and ended up with  bill of sale which i tought would be good enoug, its not. my state (missouri) requires s title in orde to register a vehicle and I dont have one. After several unsucessful attempts (and nearly 3000.00 later) my sportabout is road worthy and I need to get it registered. I'm nane names here, but i feel like I've gotten shafted by those who sold the vehicle to me.

I need some help resolving this, cuz I've now got a car the runs great, looks good and i cant drive it legally anywhere.

any ideas?

Thank you,
