Postal jeep rears - will they fit a Javelin or Gremlin?

 I found a guy in my local area with two Postal jeep rears, he mentions 
they're Dana 44's, one a 3.70 ratio, the other a 4.10 twin-grip. Anyone know 
whether the guts will transfer to a Model 20 rear, or whether the whole axle 
can be used in either a Gremlin or early Javelin? That would be a nice swap 
to make into one of my cars to be used for racing only, or fast local street 
use. Thanks for any help,
