Thanks for the concern about my rear end. Dwight's cousin at Bozarth said that they could not work on rear ends. 

I have an appointment with a mechanic who works for himself later this week. He said he could fix anything except that Gremlin parts cannot be found. We will see.

The problems I am having are almost enough to make me go to the local vo-tech school and actually learn how to work on cars. Almost....

Thanks for everyone's help and I'll keep you posted.
