Brien,
Hey... thanks. I know that Buick used the same units in the 70s.
But
I don't know any Buick guys that have one. If anyone hears any more
about these please e-mail me.
I have dreamed of putting this car together for many years. I found
a
great body of one in Wisconsin, NO RUST at all! Hard to believe but
true. It was a V8 car and I have all the parts, I think, from 3
other
cars I cut up. Hope to have on the road some day but need to buy
parts
now before I can't find them all.
Thanks,
Matt
Illinois.

Matt - I saved the URL of that Sunroof company 'just because' -
But - it is on a disc at a far away friends house and this computer
is on the way out .
Those Fabric sliding roofs are still Popular in GB - they ARE
available . If you know of Buicks that had these - get the
year & model - a lot easier to trace onLine that way .......
A V8 Gremlin sounds FAb! Get it home ASAP - things get
junked at the strangest times .......
I've been actively collecting the Items I want for this Kammback
now for two years - .
Got over enthusiastic about the AMC CB-am-fm Radio & ended
up with 7 of them (!) - haven't seen many others so I must have
cornered the Market !
I did get the 1971 SC Hornet 360 front V8 K-member and the
Grille Surround to mount a '78 AMX wire mesh grille into .........
I've a HURST Torqueflite Auto Stick shifter from 1970 that hard
mounts
to the trans. and uses rods instead of cable to shift - feels just
like a 4 sp. stick - and that is going in .
I'm looking for a NICE Alum. Targa roof wrap from a '77 - '78 AMX
so if you find out about one - give a shout !
Winter is here in New York - nothing but 50 degrees out there -
I'll look around on the web for that Sliding Sunroof thing -
Brien.
