Here is a note from a Gremlin Owner - Turboed - 8lbs boost and totally
STOCK on an INLINE SIX !!

So Nix to the tears of "building forever and cost". Thunderbird Turbo
Coupe Turbo units go for -tops- $125.00 . Bolt it on and go ! Costs
more than that for shop time making
adapters to get the Shovie to "fit".

So Sell the Shovie . This way you have the HP and Torque of a 360 but
not 
the Weight . [ps, yes I'm crackin' em !]

glad to help ,not sure on fuel injection i am a simple carb guy ,i would
also hack up anything that got in the way of the efi i was going to use
and
add a scoop or buldge if necessary,i have a 232 gremlin lots of space
,stock everything, good to 8 lbs boost at least,saab turbo is for a 2.0
litre so quick response but no top end boost,would use a t04 turbo
instead,variable vane is ok but not necessary if properly set up proper
sized turbo and cam is used. good luck jeff a

i will add intercooler is not needed till 10-15 lbs boost so save your
time
money,and space ,it will not remove enough heat to make a differance at
lower boost . roller rockers also unnecessary only give 2-3 hp at top ,so
wasted money and time ,head is the key and proper boost timing
control,or
add water injection that makes a hugh differance and save s parts. check
at
levair performance he has a turbo driven water injection set up
