[Amc-list] help

hi all i need some help ,i finally got the carb.and the vac leak fixed
but i can't seem to rember where the linkage return spring goes . its a
68 javelin with a 232 =6 with a single barrel carb. i had it torn downfor
a bit and replaced the intake manifold .it had really large crack in it.
i had the carb. rebuilt  and got it back together but i can't get it to
stay at the sameRPMS to adjust the carb. the linkage on the carb.hasa
placeto hookup the spring return and there is another placeto  hook up
the spring at the linkage firwall.. i should of taken a picture before i
tore it down,to show me how it went back to goether. i have looked at all
my AMC tech manuals and other books . i have but i can'find the
information that i need ''''''''' help HELP''''''  chad
