How tight a bend does that hose make?
Perhaps a friendly trip through the hose aisle at Advance or similar!
When I need a lower for my American with the 4.0L the stock hose would not fit.
The first AA I went to was a PIA, they took the hose an dwent back and "looked" for me. Said they had nothing.
I went to another after a frustrating week trying to figure out how else to do it.
The second AA store was great! The guy took me back of the couner, AND LEFT!  He said to look as long as I wanted. I spent about 20 minutes going through every hose they had and eventually found one that worked.
I ended up buying some super long hose to cut the bottom hose out of.
Went back a few days later and did the same for the top. Figured I should replace it while I had an "in" ...

If I had not done been succesful my plan had been to get a tight radius piece of exhaust tubing and use the exhaust as the actualy bend with short lenghs of hose to connect the ends to the radiator and engine. Much like the flex chrome and colored hoses available.  Painted exhaust tube would look less "blingy" than those fancy things if a stock look is what you are after.
