Keep in mind that AMC issued a tech bulletin about these BBD problems.
It basically just said to drill out the bottom of the idle bleed tubes
to .030.   There's really no need for the screens or shorter tubes if
you use good clean quality fuel (I'm talking fuel with good cleaning
additives such as Chevron/Shell/Texaco), and don't play in the mud too
much like the Jeepers.   So if you have a case of rambler mentality,
just drill the tubes.

I always do this on BBD's I overhaul, and I've never had an idle issue
with any of them.
