Wow, more post than I have seen in over a month. Love it. Yeah, I started on the list way back in the mid 90s around the time it was first started with a few others that are still around. I remember the good info shared as well as the bad and some of the fights that occurred. All in all, in its hay day, this was one of the top AMC resources out the web.

I am sticking around as the format is more conducive to responding than going on a forum constantly and looking for what is new. Just don't have time for constant surfing. Maybe one day it will be back to a productive site.

Please feel free to post pictures and such on our Facebook page if you want to share. Love seeing other rides and projects and are always willing to help out with what we can.

Nick

Maybe I'm shooting myself (the list) in the foot, but pics is one reason people gravitate to the forum format. Most forums let you "follow" a particular thread and will e-mail you when a reply is made, so you don't have to constantly go to the forum. You DO have to go and see if any new topics have been posted that you might be interested in though.

I believe around the summer of '97 I found this list through John's AMXfiles.com when I was looking for info on the T5 in my first Eagle wagon and then Colin told me about the Full Size Jeep list and now I'm on about 100 various sites and boards that I visit now and then ranging from AMCs to Austins, Datsuns, Internationals, Jeeps, Mazdas and more to animals, food, living off the grid.

Sorry bout that forgot about plain text (dark ages)

Been a member since the beginning. Still monitor occasionally.

Have not posted in years. Got tired of the egos and flames.

Still occasionally answer questions direct to sender.

I better correct those dates for the Winterfest of Wheels show in Sioux
Falls, SD.
It's next weekend, the 12th, 13th, and 14th of February.

Sorry,

Armand

gawd a mighty, that should be 13, 14, 15 of February.

Sheesh......

And the World of wheels is going to be in Omaha on Feb 27, 28, and Mar 1.

Last year in Omaha there was a very nice MD Javelin, the color was blue.

Still don't know who owns it.

I think I got it correct this time....

Armand

I think this list is still the go-to place ask for info, and get a useful
response. I've been mostly a lurker since the 90's, but just reading the
discussions and other, uh, dialogues over the years has been like an
informal online classroom, and definitely one of the first things I read
checking my email. FB is OK, but too many uninformed yahoos chime in.
