1977 Gremlin 232 6 cyl. Car set in storage for 19 years when I bought it. Fuel guage would only show 3/4 full when I filled it even to the point where it would start coming out filler tube. Went to car show this last weekend and the guage started showing only 1/4 full when filled as full as possible. Please tell me that the sending unit in the tank is bad because I do not have good luck when it comes to pulling the dash apart by the time I destroy everything pertaining to the guage cluster. Also is the Autometer tank unit available from O Reillys or Advance Auto Parts that is listed to fit 77 Gremlin the right fit?
