Re: [BaadAssGremlins] Rear Hatch lower panel

After I had the trouble finding the left hand driver side door glass for mine that what I was thinking. I would hate to think what that rear glass would cost. Actually gang if any of you find a drivers side door glass cheap you might think about buying it. The passenger side is easy to find. A guy told me that is because the driver side is slammed a hell of a lot more than the passenger side. He had a point. The only thing I had to get a clear glass instead of tinted one which isn't that big a deal. The only thing is it will be sitting in my driveway and I have gone out more than once thinking the glass was down when it was up. Still the $50 was a lot more to my liking than the close to $300 the glass companies wanted. They wanted less for a windshield than the side glass. Then again you have to have the glass from a two door while any windshield from a 70 Gremlin or Hornet to a 88 Eagle Wagon will fit.

If you run across the 77/up glass grab it.  I had to replace mine and it was a small fortune and then shipping it was expensive too.  They didnt make many 77/78  Gremlin and Spirit of Gremlins so its hard to find em!

I agree with Onree. I don't have an older model to compare it with but the rear glass in my 78 which is the same as a 77 is a good 3 or more inches farther down then the glass on an older model, You don't have the rear glass for that 77 do you. I would be tempted to buy it just in case something happens to mind. So unless there is big piece of metal below your 73 rear glass I don't think they will fit.

I don't think so. I've had both (no longer have the 77, so I can't just go out and compare) and the 77 has a much larger hatch, and so less space below the window..

Will the plastic panel below the rear glass interchange between a 77 and a 73 Gremlin? Not sure if they will. Thanks
