[AMC-List] Barrett-Jackson/Mecum/Russo&Steele Auctions

Ho ho ho, there is a rare "B" scheme Hurst SC/Rambler that will be going
thru the Barrett Jackson Scottsdale auctio in Janaury 2007. What a excellent
example, this is the direct link in case anyone wants to check it out.

And Tom Benvie's Trans Am Javelin will be going thru the Russo & Steele
Scottsdale auction also in Janaury:

One might want to look thru the main list of all three auctions, neat to see
some of the formidale iron, musclecars, restored, races cars and what not,
sort of like a online candy store for us big boys.

Worth looking at list!!!!
Gas Ronda Tribute Car (read it closely!)

Big Bird Daytona with 32K miles

77 Camaro Z28, the reason I mention this is because there was a guy in high
school down in Corpus Christi who seemed to buy a new car each season. He
got one of these and always parked it out front on Texan street. He got his
ass kicked by your's truly in my 70 Javelin 360/AT one afternoon out on
Texan avenue in front of a bunch of onlookers. Not good. A week later, his
Camaro got it's ass kicked again, this time by a blue 71 Roadrunner a buddy
of mine had, a 383/4speed car. Similiar to this, but it had different stripe
like railroad track across it:

Not good. The Camaro was traded for a new green LTD with the weird Starsky &
Hutch looking C stripe. Not a Torino, but a LTD. And he avoided the Javelin
and Roadrunner.

COPO Camaro 'recreation'
Give me a break on the words like clones, recreations and such. It is
altered. While some are tripping themselves over six cylinder Challengers,
Barracudas and the like to make 'hemi clones' this is a neat alternative. My
bookie says this one will fetch over $100K. You got some who like to judge
and critisize others cars that are not built to "their" particular tastes.
All the while their front yard looks like a AMC salvage lot. As Trump would
say to Rosie "Shaddup!"

Amphicar. Always have liked these but rarely see one in auction!

Would be a good car for Ted Kennedy.

Have fun!
