Re: [Amc-list] Sometimes you're just lucky..Song

I can play:

To the tune of "On Top of Old Smokey":

I have this old Rambler
Was light blue now dark
Am looking to drive it
Not watchin' it parked

Put in an old engine
Rebuilt with new parts
Hooking up the linkage
to see if it starts

I need a small clevis
to hook up the tranny
When I got this old car
The small parts weren't many

I went to Ace hardware
to see if they had one
searched through their shelves
but the sum total was none

I had dismantled another Rambler
with a flashomatic installed
I looked in the the parts box
Found the clevis, I..was appalled

Sometimes you're just lucky
Sometimes you're just good
Have no one to brag to
'fore I put on the hood

I'll just post to the list now
Rambler friends 'll understand
Wife died and no dog
The cat's lickin' it's reareand
