If you can't find the part, could I offer an alternative approach... 
Here, we have a HackerSpace group that are hobbyist who make things. 
They have several 3D printers, 3D Scanners and LOVE stuff like metal 
casting.

If you can't find the part, check around for one of these groups and see 
if they can help you make a new one. Print an ABS positive then aluminum 
cast a new one.

I'd help you but, I my 3D printer hasn't been delivered yet (because I 
haven't bought one yet).


> I know I'm going out on a limb here, since you mostly are interested in AMC vehicles. But, I have a 1941 Kelvinator Refrigerator that I am in desperate need of a replacement door handle.  I only have 1/2 of the handle.  Fortunately, it's the 1/2 that unlatches the door, and still works as needed to open the refrigerator.  But, I am in the process of restoring the refrigerator, and, obviously, need a complete handle for the project.
